In March we hosted a Family Storyteller Program funded by the Dickinson County Extension Office.  The families that attended had a great time and received new books and materials.  Supper was served by several local organizations and was much appreciated!  We put a alot of learning into 6 days of March!

Our next Friends of the Library meeting is Tuesday, May 15th at 5:00.  We welcome new members!

The 3rd grade is invited to a Pajama Party on Thursday, April 19th, 2012 from 6:30-8:30 at the Public Library.  Wear your pajamas and bring a pillow, blanket or sleeping bag and prepare for a fun evening of popcorn and a movie!  Permission slips will be handed out and will also be available at the elementary school.

The “Friends of the Lake Park Library” are selling colorful bookbags in 5 different colors for $10 each. We still have a few left. Come and take a look!  Patrons were treated to cake and coffee one day during that week. 

Come in and take a look at the new Kindle Fire for use in the library.  We’ve also added another laptop computer.  The new color printer is up and running so we’re able to print off color photos for you as well.
